Title: Customer Data Scientist

Reports to: Head of Customer Success

Matrix Manager: Client Project leader

Summary: The Data Scientist acts as a data analytics expert & customer partner to support execution and translation of customer needs using proprietary software products. This role supports the internal and external processes that lead to customer acquisition, onboarding, satisfaction, growth, & retention with a focus on simplifying big data access to enable customer value.


Requirements

  • Degree from accredited university in relevant field
  • Ability to use Python and/or R to mine datasets and predict patterns
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint
  • Ability to build statistical models, regression and classification, that generate usable insight from raw and/or messy, large datasets
  • Knowledge of research design, advanced machine learning methods and cost-benefit analysis
  • Ability to manage projects effectively and on time
  • Polished interpersonal style, strong communication skills, and solid emotional intelligence
  • Ability to simplify complex data services/solutions through clear, direct communication
  • 1-3 years experience in analytical client-facing role
  • Passion for working autonomously, ability to work under limited direction, passion for client partnership
